A Framework for Open-Pit Mine Production Scheduling under Semi-Mobile In-Pit Crushing and Conveying Systems with the High-Angle Conveyor

In-pit crushing and conveying (IPCC) systems have drawn attention to the modern mining industry due numerous benefits than conventional truck-and-shovel systems. However, implementation of IPCC system can reduce flexibility introduce additional sequence requirements. This paper investigates long-term production scheduling crusher relocation plan open-pit mines using a semi-mobile high-angle conveyor. A series candidate conveyor locations is generated around pit limit, with located along each line. Each location solved independently by an integer linear programming model for making station decisions, aiming maximize net present value (NPV) considering material handling costs. The schedule highest NPV associated considered optimum or near-optimum solution.
